Overview

The Cyberlaw Clinic has worked with government institutions and organizations on a wide range of issues relating to both: (a) the government’s use of technology to enhance citizen representation and provision of public services; and (b) government initiatives designed to promote and encourage private sector innovation.

MAYOR’S OFFICE OF NEW URBAN MECHANICS, BOSTON | The Cyberlaw Clinic provides legal support to the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, researching and advising on privacy issues associated with tools developed by the Office targeted at boosting educational outcomes. The Office of New Urban Mechanics serves as Boston’s “innovation incubator,” using technology and innovation to increase civic participation, improve infrastructure and improve education.
