MAYOR’S OFFICE OF NEW URBAN MECHANICS, BOSTON | The Cyberlaw Clinic provides legal support to the Mayor’s Office of New Urban Mechanics, researching and advising on privacy issues associated with tools developed by the Office targeted at boosting educational outcomes. The Office of New Urban Mechanics serves as Boston’s “innovation incubator,” using technology and innovation to increase civic participation, improve infrastructure and improve education.

The New York Public Library

THE NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY | The Cyberlaw Clinic provides legal support to the New York Public Library, the second-largest public library in the United States (behind only the Library of Congress).  The Clinic has advised NYPL regarding its NYPL’s MyLibraryNYC program, which “offers book delivery to schools, fine-free borrowing for educators and students, a shared catalog that searches the school collection as well as that of the public library, teacher sets curated around NYC Scope and Sequence, and access to the public libraries’ databases, downloadable books, music and movies.”
