Lucas.  The piece highlights the amicus brief that the Cyberlaw Clinic filed on behalf of the New England First Amendment Coalition and other amici, in support of defendant, noting that “[n]ewspapers routinely carry letters to the editor, advertisements, and other forms of third-party media” and that “[u]nder one reading of (the law), a newspaper could be responsible for any and all falsehoods in those pieces.”
