On December 3, 2014, Fall 2014 Clinic student Joe Milner, along with Clinic Instructor Vivek Krishnamurthy, delivered a presentation to the MIT Bitcoin Club about legal issues surrounding bitcoin, an online cryptocurrency, from taxes to privacy to currency regulation.
Their presentation details the current standing of bitcoin in several different countries, and offers general thoughts on using bitcoin for transactions and developing software around the system.
